40 Years of Glass Expertise at Your Service

After proudly serving in the military, Gary Gregg, the founder of Creating With Glass, gained valuable experience working alongside his brother-in-law at a custom fixture manufacturing company. There, he collaborated with architects and designers to bring unique visions to life.

In the early 1980s, Gary and his wife Carol—who has a remarkable talent for glass cutting—turned their creative passion into a side business. Their dedication and craftsmanship quickly gained attention, allowing them to transition into a full-time business solely through word-of-mouth referrals, without the need for advertising.

With a background in art and design, Gary leads the business’s sales, custom designs, and installations. His specialties include copper foil beveled glass, glue chip, carved and shattered glass, as well as mirror strip repair. He is also highly skilled in refurbishing and repairing entry doors, from hardware and alignment to cutting out panels and replacing them with elegant glass inserts.

In addition, Gary creates door lights for kitchen cabinets and side panels, custom shower enclosures, fireplace screens, and repairs vintage leaded glass windows.

While 95% of their work is residential, Creating With Glass has made its mark in iconic locations such as Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and Coke Corner in Disneyland, as well as Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

I have been a member for many years in several different classifications. EAOC has always provided me with a steady flow of leads. However the biggest benefit I’ve received has been “outside” of the core purpose of leads. A past member John Valentine, mentioned to me that he had heard about some industrial land for sale in Costa Mesa. I ended up buying it, building a warehouse and running my business at the time (South Coast Stationers) there for about thirty years. It was an excellent investment.
