Happy Friday, EAOC!

We had a great gathering this week with a full house. Thank you to Sammy and Manny for providing a wonderful, hearty breakfast.

This week's presenter was Justin Hess with Tax & Financial Group (TFG). With his extensive experience and education in finance and investing, Justin's passion has clearly driven him to success. I can wholeheartedly give Justin a personal referral; he is currently helping us navigate our upcoming retirement and recently helped streamline our company’s 401(k) plan through his partnerships with Human Interest and Cetera.

The Board has overwhelmingly accepted Shawn Jin’s application as our new Commercial Insurance Broker. Shawn is the co-owner and co-founder of Kingdom Global Insurance. We look forward to seeing Shawn present soon; in the meantime, please take the opportunity to get to know him and the services he offers. We hope he can provide a wide variety of insurance solutions for our members and their clients.

Next week, my son Chris and I will be presenting on various forms of water filtration, including a new tankless Reverse Osmosis unit. Without a proper filtration system, your body absorbs chlorine, chloramines, and other chemicals during every bath and shower. We look forward to sharing more with you then.

As they grew, so did their order size. And although the member has not been a member for several years, this client has accounted for a total revenue of $60,000 at very nice profit margins. When I was invited to be a part of the EAOC, I had no idea that a “by invitation only” networking group existed. Well, we’ve been around since the early 70’s. And, what a great group of business associates we have.

Often, merely providing information is just what was needed. These professionals are like my business partners, they are champions of my business as well as their own.

A past member John Valentine, mentioned to me that he had heard about some industrial land for sale in Costa Mesa. I ended up buying it, building a warehouse and running my business at the time (South Coast Stationers) there for about thirty years. It was an excellent investment.
